Cosmetics Makeup Brushes Recommended:The Powder Brush 1

Nearly everyone owns a powder brush in some way, shape or form. What I’ve found from using cheaper brushes across the years is that the brush hair often falls out on application of product, which can leave unsightly long black hairs on your face that if not spotted soon enough, some people might think are real! Clinique’s Powder Brush (£20) does no such thing. The brush is soft and easy to use, the hairs on the brush are secure, and the brush gives a lovely even finish to the face on application. I’ve been using it with Clinique’s Gentle Light Powder (£18.50) to give a beautifully radiant, iridescent finish. If you prefer a powder foundation, Clinique are also one of only a few brands to offer a specific Powder Foundation Brush (£20), which ensures even coverage and also leaves your complexion looking flawless and primed to perfection – a brush I would highly recommend. Clinique has an extensive collection of makeup brushes and whilst you can’t buy them in a set, their very reasonable price tag (all brushes are between £10 and £20) means you can invest in several high quality, durable brushes without breaking the bank. It’s no wonder the collection was the winner of a Cosmopolitan Beauty Award in 2008. A great first-time investment brush collection.
