Cosmetics Makeup Tips:The Art of cosmetics makeup
I have to admit, I like watching What Not to Wear, and more often than not, one of the big issues the women that are nominated have, is that they wear too much cosmetics makeup. They think it makes them look good, but really, we're in an age where less is more. I never wore a lot of makeup before I made the switch to mineral makeup, but I love that the mineral makeup gives me a natural look. Even when I go all out for weddings, and add eye shadow and lipstick/gloss, I still don't look made up. My cosmetics makeup looks very natural.
Cosmetics makeup, in a way is like perfume, or scented beauty lotion, it's there to enhance what you already have. Not something that should be used in excess and look unnatural. I've seen many pictures of models made up to look exotic, or like something out of a comic book, but that outrageous makeup job is there to play up a look the designer, photographer and stylist are trying to make to sell you the clothes the model is wearing. But for real life, you really don't need that much makeup; keep it simple and natural.
