It is considered to be a mineral, so many try to pass off their makeup as being pure mineral, but it is not a natural one found in the earth. Doctors report that it can be a skin irritant and can cause rashes and itching.
The coverage is long-lasting and it can be as heavy as you want it to be so it can really work well for women with acne or rosacea, or scarring. Another plus is the SPF protection the makeup provides from the skins harmful rays. When it comes to the sun and your skin, you can never be too careful. The sun will increase wrinkle lines and sun spots on your face, aging your skin before its time. I use a lotion for my face that has an SPF 15 and then apply the loose powder giving my skin added protection from the sun. I have loved my mineral makeup.
