It is easy to use and pretty fool proof. It does not leave that hideous mark on your jaw, making you look like you are wearing a mask! Here are some simple tips you can try so you can get a flawless look that will give you a airbrushed finish.

Step 1  Wash your hands! Always have clean hands when touching your face to prevent breakouts.

Step 2  Apply your daily moisturizer. You can use moisturizers with SPF as well for sun protection. Once dry, apply your facial primer. Keep in mind that just a small amount (pea size) is enough to cover the entire face. Don't go overboard with primers, otherwise they will run on your skin.

Step 3  Your skin should be feeling extra soft and smooth and your pores should be looking smaller. Now, use the kabuki brush to apply your mineral foundation. Either a round-top or a flat-top kabuki will work just fine. (they serve slightly different functions, but you can achieve amazing coverage with both of them)

Step 4  Blend, blend, blend away!Buff all over your face until you achieve the coverage you want. Take a step back and look in the mirror to make sure you are happy with the amount of coverage. Once done, add a little bit of loose powder just to set the foundation. For this part, you can use any large brush and no need to buff, just make sure it is applied evenly all over the face.

Step 5  Add your favorite blush, bronzer, highlighter, gloss, whatever makes you happy and pretty and you are all set!!

Primers can be quite pricey. Something I've been using and loving is a chaffing gel. I know it sounds very odd, but I swear it works EXACTLY the same way if not better, because they don't add unnecessary perfumes and dyes. It is composed of the same ingredients used in face primers, so don't let the label fool you and your wallet!
